This report summarizes the results of a review, conducted by external experts, of the quality and content of the Out-of-School Literacy Assessment (OLA). EDC developed the OLA to measure the literacy skills of older youth and young adults, particularly those who are living in extreme poverty or post-conflict environments, with minimal literacy acquisition. The report also contains recommendations for improvements to and future use of OLA.
