EDC, in collaboration with the Rwanda Development Board and the Skills Office (now part of the Ministry of Public Service and Labor), conducted a green labor market assessment to identify potential green job opportunities, particularly for youth not in education, employment, or training. The report focuses on two key sectors: sustainable agriculture, forestry, and fisheries, and sustainable tourism and hospitality. The assessment revealed the potential for over 35,000 green job opportunities in these sectors, offering pathways for young people to enter green employment and entrepreneurship.
